Yes. CBS 2026 offers a hybrid format. Virtual attendees will have live access to keynote sessions and selected parallel sessions. Platform details will be shared with registered participants closer to the event.
Absolutely. MSc and PhD students are strongly encouraged to submit. There will be a dedicated student poster competition with prizes. Undergraduates are welcome as co-authors or attendees.
Yes. Accepted abstracts will be published in the CBS 2026 Book of Abstracts. Full papers may be considered for a peer-reviewed journal. Details will be communicated to accepted authors.
Buea is approximately 70 km from Douala International Airport (1.5–2 hours by road). Taxis, agency buses, and shared vehicles are available. Transport guidance will be provided to registered participants.
Registered participants requiring a formal invitation letter should email kato.namuene@ubuea.cm with their full name, institution, and passport details. Allow at least 6 weeks for processing.
A curated list of recommended hotels and guesthouses at various price points will be provided to all registered participants. Buea offers good options within minutes of the University campus.
Abstracts must not exceed 300 words. They should follow a structured format: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. No tables, figures, or references are permitted within the abstract text.
